Rarely do we come across a Pagani Huayra being put up for sale in the pre-owned market, considering that only 100 units were ever produced. As the successor to the Zonda, the Huayra bears similarity in its design and relies on Mercedes-derived V12 powerplants as well as Pagani’s internal carbon fiber expertise.
Beneath its aesthetically appealing exterior, the Huayra conceals a twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter V12 engine sourced from Mercedes-AMG that cranks out an impressive 720 horsepower and a massive 738 lb-ft of torque. Named after a wind deity, this V12 hypercar can sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.0 seconds, achieving a top speed of 238 mph, surpassing most production cars and outshining even its predecessor, the Zonda.
Regarded as a masterpiece, the Pagani Huayra exemplifies meticulous attention to detail. This specific model adheres to US-market standards and was first shipped to British Motor Car Distributors in San Francisco, California. It later joined the current owner’s collection in Illinois in 2016.
The showcased 2014 Pagani Huayra sports a clearcoat finish on exposed carbon fiber along with distinctive orange stripes at its front and rear. Noteworthy design elements include gullwing doors, wheels with staggered dimensions, carbon-ceramic brakes featuring gold-painted calipers, a front splitter, a diffuser, and quad bi-xenon headlights equipped with LED running lights.
Inside, you’ll find carbon-fiber-backed bucket seats adorned with tan leather, an aluminum gear lever with exposed linkage, tan leather headrest covers, power-operated windows, automated climate control, a Sonus Faber audio system, and a touchscreen infotainment setup embedded in a solid aluminum upper console panel.
Among the limited run of 100 units produced, this particular 2014 Pagani Huayra, numbered 71, has merely 592 miles on its odometer, rendering it a highly coveted contemporary collector’s item. The car’s visual appeal is simply extraordinary, showcasing a true masterpiece of craftsmanship. The following is an image tag displaying two car images.
