Acura has announced that it will unveil the 2025 ADX small crossover later this autumn. This new model will be more compact than the RDX crossover and is expected to be designated as a 2025 model.
“The all-new Acura ADX is another exciting model positioned at the gateway of our lineup, attracting a new generation of buyers to the Acura brand,” stated Mike Langel, assistant vice president of Acura National Sales.
Alongside the Integra compact hatchback and the RDX, the ADX will join the MDX three-row crossover SUV and the ZDX electric crossover, which tops the lineup.

While the ADX may become the most affordable crossover in Acura’s expanding range, it will include high-end features such as a panoramic moonroof, ventilated front seats, and a Bang & Olufsen audio system. These features were also previewed in the images released on Wednesday.
Previously, Acura had a smaller crossover than the RDX, known as the CDX, which was available only in China from 2016 until 2022. The automaker had contemplated introducing the CDX to the U.S. market but ultimately decided against it due to its compact dimensions.
The CDX was closely related to the older Honda HR-V subcompact crossover. A redesigned HR-V was launched in the U.S. for the 2023 model year, sharing its platform with the compact Civic and Integra, and is expected to serve as the foundation for the ADX.
The latest HR-V measures 179.8 inches in length, making it 7.6 inches shorter than the RDX. It is powered by a 2.0-liter inline-4 engine producing 158 hp, coupled with a CVT, with front-wheel drive as standard and an optional all-wheel-drive system available.
