Audi in March unveiled a mid-cycle update for the A3, and the revised compact sedan is now ready for orders in the U.S.
Launching as a 2025 model, it has a starting price of $39,495, which includes a $1,295 destination fee.
This represents a significant increase over the starting cost of the 2024 A3, which was $36,895, although the 2025 model now comes with all-wheel drive as standard. Adding this feature to the 2024 A3 raised its starting price to $38,895.
Other modifications for 2025 encompass new front and rear fascia designs, the introduction of a frameless front grille, and redesigned internals for the LED headlights and taillights. Two new wheel designs and four additional exterior color options (Arkona White, Arrow Gray pearl effect, Progressive Red metallic, and District Green metallic) have also been introduced.

For the cabin, designers have incorporated new elements for the gear shifter and air vents, along with fresh options for the trim and dashboard accents. An increased number of standard features have also been included, such as a leather-trimmed multifunction steering wheel, an ambient lighting setup, and a larger 10.3-inch digital display for the gauge cluster. The infotainment system is equipped with a standard 10.1-inch screen.
Available options consist of a wireless phone charger, door panel lighting choices, and various offerings found in the Audi App store. Similar to a smartphone, the app store allows owners to download and install applications directly into the vehicle. A surround-view camera system is being developed but has not yet been launched.
There is only one powertrain option in the 2025 A3, which is a 2.0-liter turbo-4 producing 201 hp. It is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. For buyers desiring enhanced performance, the S3 and RS 3 models are available, boasting outputs of 328 and 400 hp, respectively, for 2025.
In other regions, Audi has additionally introduced a soft-roader variant based on the A3 Sportback hatch (which is also unavailable in the U.S.). Named the A3 Allstreet, it features an additional 0.6 inches of ride height, as well as a slightly elevated seating position that Audi claims facilitates easier entry and exit.
