On Monday, Jeep revealed the pricing for its 2025 Grand Cherokee, which is currently available at dealerships across the country.
The entry-level Laredo, featuring rear-wheel drive, carries a starting price of $38,830 for 2025, marking a $1,000 decrease from the comparable 2024 model. For those interested in four-wheel drive, an additional $2,000 is required.
It’s important to mention that the 2024 Grand Cherokee had a basic Laredo A trim with rear-wheel drive, starting even lower at $38,290, but this variant is no longer on offer.
For those seeking the 2025 Grand Cherokee L, which includes third-row seating, the starting price for the Laredo with rear-wheel drive is $40,830, again reflecting a $1,000 reduction compared to the 2024 version. Adding four-wheel drive to this model incurs a charge of $2,000.

Additional trims include the Limited, Overland, and Summit, with starting prices of $46,700, $60,790, and $62,355, respectively.
The standard powertrain for both the regular Grand Cherokee and the Grand Cherokee L is a 293-hp 3.6-liter V-6 paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The previous option of a 357-hp 5.7-liter V-8 has been eliminated, with its removal occurring for the Grand Cherokee in 2023 and the Grand Cherokee L in 2024.
For those in search of enhanced power, the Grand Cherokee 4xe presents a compelling option with its plug-in hybrid system that combines a 2.0-liter turbo-4 engine and an electric motor for a total of 375 hp. However, the Grand Cherokee 4xe is exclusively available in the two-row configuration and comes standard with four-wheel drive.
Starting from $62,285 for the mid-tier Limited model, the 2025 Grand Cherokee 4xe maintains the same pricing from the previous model year.
All prices include a destination fee of $1,795.
Jeep has not introduced any new features this year, as the company is preparing for a mid-cycle refresh expected to launch next year with the 2026 model. Camouflaged prototypes of the updated Grand Cherokee have been spotted, suggesting changes to the front styling. Additionally, there are speculations that Jeep may incorporate Stellantis’ turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-6 engine in the updated Grand Cherokee to replace the former V-8 engine.
