Sinc the LC’s introduction to the market in 2018, Lexus has continually enhanced the sports car, and the 2025 version further exemplifies this commitment.

Unveiled on Friday, the 2025 LC has been upgraded with additional chassis reinforcements, a new Iridium exterior color choice, and a carbon-fiber door sill plate that is now available with the Sport Package.

Pricing has seen only a marginal increase compared to last year, with the LC 500 coupe starting at $100,425 and the LC 500h coupe at $103,575.

The convertible version is available solely as the LC 500 and carries a starting price of $107,625 for 2025. All prices include a $1,175 destination fee.

The 2025 model introduces the new Iridium paint, a silver shade accessible through the LC’s Bespoke Build package. This package also allows for red and blue soft-top roof colors to be chosen independently for those selecting the LC convertible.

Introduced in 2024, the Bespoke Build package enhances personalization opportunities, featuring unique paint finishes, wheel designs, and interior trim selections, along with more color choices for the convertible’s roof.

This year, the LC coupe receives additional chassis support, including extra underfloor braces at both the front and rear, which enhance rigidity. These enhancements are part of Lexus’s approach to boost the sportiness of its vehicles with improved handling characteristics.

The 2025 LC retains its appealing aesthetics from previous iterations. Standard features for the coupe include a glass roof, which can be replaced with a lighter carbon-fiber variant. Meanwhile, the convertible boasts an automated soft top that can fold down in just 15 seconds and is operable at speeds of up to 31 mph.

Inside, the cabin features a minimalist dashboard equipped with an 8.0-inch digital gauge display and a 12.3-inch touchscreen for the infotainment system. Voice commands can be utilized to control vehicle functions, with options for Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. The interior boasts Alcantara and hand-stitched leather, with satin metallic accents on the dashboard. In 2025, the passenger seat panel is also trimmed in Alcantara.

No changes were made to the powertrains. The 2025 LC remains available with a 5.0-liter V-8 in the LC 500 or a hybrid configuration based on a 3.5-liter V-6 in the LC 500h, in both cases directing power to the rear wheels.

The LC 500’s V-8 engine produces 471 hp paired with a standard 10-speed automatic transmission. For the LC 500h, the combination of a 3.5-liter V-6 and electric motor generates 354 hp, utilizing an electronic CVT alongside a 4-speed automatic that mimics the LC 500’s transmission feel. The LC 500 is quicker, achieving 0-60 mph in approximately 4.4 seconds.
