Following its return to the U.S. market for the 2024 model year, the 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser is set to hit dealerships by late October, remaining largely the same as its predecessor.
The previous year’s top-of-the-line First Edition has concluded, leaving only the base Land Cruiser 1958 grade and a higher, yet unnamed grade available. These models are priced at $57,900 and $63,900 respectively, with both figures including a mandatory destination fee of $1,450. These prices reflect an increase of $455 compared to the 2024 models.

Named after the debut year of the Land Cruiser in the U.S., the 1958 grade offers standard features including heated front seats, an 8.0-inch touchscreen, a 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a 6-speaker audio setup. The upper-tier Land Cruiser grade boasts a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen and instrument cluster, along with a 10-speaker audio system.
A Premium Package for the Land Cruiser grade is available, adding features such as a digital rearview mirror, head-up display, moonroof, cooled center console tray, a 14-speaker JBL sound system, and leather upholstery—a feature previously exclusive to the one-year-only First Edition grade.
All Land Cruiser variants utilize the same hybrid powertrain, combining a 2.4-liter turbo-4 engine with an electric motor to generate 326 hp and 465 lb-ft of torque. This power is directed through an 8-speed automatic transmission and standard full-time four-wheel drive featuring a 2-speed electronically controlled transfer case. A front stabilizer bar that can be disconnected is also an available option.
Known as the 250 series, the U.S. version of the Land Cruiser is smaller than the 300 series available in other regions but is based on a variant of the same TNGA-F body-on-frame architecture. This platform is shared with various other U.S.-market vehicles, including the similarly-sized Lexus GX and Toyota 4Runner. With these two off-road SUVs already in the lineup, it appears Toyota may not require a diverse array of Land Cruiser trim levels.
