The demand for Bentley’s Mulliner personalization division is reaching unprecedented heights. Bentley reports that approximately three out of every four vehicles that roll off their production line come with some enhancements from Mulliner.
Given this robust demand, Mulliner is exploring opportunities to broaden its offerings. One approach involves the incorporation of significantly more tactile materials and finishes.
Several of these elements were utilized in a set of four Continental GT Speed Convertibles crafted by Mulliner for the Southern California dealership Bentley Rancho Mirage.
Dubbed the Expressions of Texture Collection, the models showcase unique paint finishes, three-dimensional quilting, and innovative materials.
David Parker, Mulliner’s chief commercial officer, noted in a statement that the vehicles in this collection serve as inspiration for customers eager to utilize the latest offerings at Mulliner. For clients pressed for time who still wish for a distinctive vehicle, Mulliner occasionally introduces its own curated models, such as last year’s Bentayga EWB Mulliner.
The cars in this series are based on the current Continental GT Speed Convertible, but an updated version sporting a V-8 plug-in hybrid powertrain, in place of the conventional W-12 engine, has been announced and is expected to launch next year.
