The distinct variation of the Porsche 911 Dakar is expertly crafted to effortlessly maneuver through rough terrains and rural pathways. Limited to a global production of 2,500 units, this distinctive model highlights the adaptability of the Porsche 911 principle.
It commemorates Porsche’s victorious moment at the 1984 Paris-Dakar Rally, which introduced the all-wheel-drive system to a Porsche 911 for the first time. In honor of this significant achievement, the innovative 911 Dakar will present an optional Rallye Design Package inspired by the legendary triumphant vehicle from 1984.
The 2024 Porsche 911 Dakar, a crossover coupe specifically crafted for off-road expeditions, showcases a raised ride height compared to the 911 Carrera version equipped with Sport Suspension. The Dakar model incorporates a lifting mechanism that elevates both the front and rear sections by 30mm, ensuring a ride height and ramp-over angles akin to conventional SUVs.
This vehicle is outfitted with all-terrain Pirelli tires featuring a substantial tread depth of 9mm. These tires are built with reinforced sidewalls and two layers of carcass, rendering them ideal for adventurous off-road journeys. The Porsche 911 Dakar is driven by a 3.0-liter twin-turbo Boxer engine generating 473 horsepower and 420 lb.-ft. of torque, transferring power to all four wheels. It also incorporates diverse driving modes to optimize performance on off-road landscapes.
