Mercedes-Benz USA unveils the latest Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 S “Edition 1,” enhancing the energetic model with exclusive design elements and an array of standard features. Restricted to just 25 units in the U.S., the 2024 Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 S “Edition 1” will soon be accessible at U.S. dealerships for $81,195.
The MANUFAKTUR Mountain Grey Magno paint and distinct graphics, including the AMG logo and styling, emphasize the Edition 1’s dynamic nature. The orange design highlights, AMG Night Package Plus, and AMG Aerodynamics Package with improved aerodynamics such as a larger front splitter and rear spoiler add to its distinct appearance. Moreover, it showcases 19-inch AMG cross-spoke forged wheels in matte black, paired with red AMG Performance brake calipers for a striking juxtaposition.
The Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 S “Edition 1” displays unique design aspects inside and out. The interior features AMG Performance seats with black microfiber upholstery and orange stitching for extra support during dynamic driving. It exhibits “CLA 45 S” branding in orange on the headrests, orange contrast stitching on the instrument panel, red illuminated AMG door sill panels, and red Edition 1-specific lighting. The cockpit also includes an AMG Performance steering wheel in Nappa leather/microfiber, aluminum and black AMG trim elements that mirror the exterior design.
Propelling the AMG CLA 45 S “Edition 1” is a handcrafted AMG 2.0-liter turbocharged M139 engine producing 416 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque. This powertrain enables the coupe to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in a mere 4.0 seconds. The vehicle comes equipped with standard AMG Performance 4MATIC+ fully adaptable all-wheel drive featuring AMG TORQUE CONTROL. The rear differential incorporates two electronically controlled multi-plate clutches connected to the rear axle driveshaft, allowing variable power distribution between the front and rear axles as well as between the left and right rear wheels for improved performance.
