Everything You Must Know About The Lamborghini Huracan STJ

Automobili Lamborghini SpA continues to amaze with their offerings in the Huracán lineup. The last batches of the Huracan STO, Huracan Tecnica, and the distinctive Huracan Sterrato are currently being manufactured. While the fate of the Huracan EVO remains uncertain, sightings of the EVO Spyder suggest ongoing progress. Ordering any of these Lamborghini V10 models has been impossible for a while, as all production slots are fully reserved. But is that really the case?

Lamborghini has recently secured the trademark for the Huracan STJ, teasing a new addition to their lineup. The STJ might stand for Super Trofeo Jota, hinting at a more track-focused version of the Huracan STO. While some speculate that the Huracan STJ could be exclusively designed for track usage, it is more likely to appeal to a broader audience. If it were solely for the track, it might have been named the SCV10, in line with the SCV12 Essenza derived from the Aventador.

The arrival of the Huracan STJ, a limited-production variant of the Huracan STO, is eagerly anticipated. Drawing inspiration from the Super Trofeo EVO2 racecar, it is not expected to surpass the 640 hp of the STO. However, there is a chance of a slight increase to approximately 650hp. The primary focus lies on introducing innovative aerodynamic features to the Huracan STJ edition.

Car manufacturers have a trend of adapting track-specific vehicles into road-legal flagship models. For instance, Ferrari unveiled the SF90 XX Stradale, previously reserved for non-street-legal XX models. Similarly, the new Huracan STJ aims to tread the same path, evolving into a street-legal version of the Super Trofeo EVO2 car, much like how the STO was a road-approved variant of the Huracan Super Trofeo.

This shift towards street-legal track-oriented vehicles is evident across different models, merging the performance and exhilaration of track cars with the convenience of road-legal automobiles.

There is a sense of intrigue surrounding the trademark filing for the Lamborghini Huracan STJ as the release of its successor is awaited, likely featuring a V8 engine, possibly with twin-turbo and hybrid elements. Despite the Huracan production being fully booked, the introduction of a ‘special’ model based on the current NA V10 platform raises concerns about potential delays with the successor.

Excitement builds for the launch of the Lamborghini Huracan STJ, the Super Trofeo Jota edition, speculated to be the concluding variant of this remarkable model. Enthusiasts are filled with anticipation regarding the design of this road race car, possibly limited to just 100 units reminiscent of the Aventador Ultimae edition. Collectors eagerly await official updates on this model, expected to be highly sought after with the likelihood of a swift sell-out upon release.
