Jaguar is taking its leave from traditional gasoline engines, declaring its commitment to sell purely electric vehicles beginning in 2025. The shift will mean the discontinuation of its current fleet, including the electric I-Pace crossover.

In celebration of this major transition, Jaguar unveiled the F-Pace 90th Anniversary Edition last week, validating it as the concluding variant of the standard F-Pace. Additionally, a distinct F-Pace SVR 575 Edition was introduced to commemorate the cessation of the high-powered F-Pace SVR. These introductions succeed last year’s F-Type ZP Edition, Jaguar’s ultimate vehicles propelled by internal-combustion engines.

The F-Pace 90th Anniversary Edition honors nine decades of Jaguar vehicles driven by gasoline engines. The earliest was the SS Jaguar, a unique offering launched by SS Cars in 1935. Following, SS Cars would, in 1945, rebrand as Jaguar Cars.

Depending on regional availability, the F-Pace 90th Anniversary Edition will come in S, SE, and HSE configurations. It boasts a gamut of standard enhancements such as R-Dynamic exterior design features, distinct wheel designs, a panoramic ceiling, a comprehensive-view camera setup, contrasting threadwork, a black ceiling liner, and aluminum dashboard embellishments.

The F-Pace SVR 575 Edition boasts augmented performance, a tribute befitting the special edition curtains for the gasoline engine. As intimated by its moniker, it wields 575 hp, a figure which equates to 567 hp by U.S. measurement norms. In contrast, the domestic-rated F-Pace SVR holds a power rating of 542 hp.

It also features distinct add-ons like an exterior black styling kit, singular 22-inch rims, and temperature-regulated, adjustable sport seats in front with 14-way power settings adorned in leather.

Reservations for these bespoke F-Pace editions commence this month, with Jaguar yet to disclose their stateside market availability.

Jaguar has been reticent about the specifics of its upcoming electric array, though the debut model is anticipated to be a polished sedan or hatch modeled with coupe influences. A conceptual model of it is slated for exposure this year. Furthermore anticipated in the roster are an SUV out-sizing the F-Pace and a large sedan. As Jaguar forges ahead, these future electric vehicles are expected to carry price tags exceeding those traditionally seen from the marque.
