Shortly after the road-legal model debuted, McLaren launched the Senna GTR, enhancing the exceptional McLaren Senna in terms of performance. Unbound by road or track restrictions, this addition to the Ultimate Series pushes boundaries by shedding weight and generating more than 1,000kg of aerodynamic downforce. It integrates the suspension system employed in McLaren’s GT3 race program, ensuring top-notch handling on the racetrack.
The Senna GTR is propelled by a powerful twin-turbocharged V8 engine, tuned to produce up to 825hp and 800Nm of torque, channeled to the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch racing transmission. With this powertrain, the Senna GTR can go from 0 to 60 mph in less than 2.8 seconds and from 0 to 124 mph in under 6.8 seconds.
Interestingly, this vehicle serves as a homage to the iconic Brazilian F1 World Champion, Ayrton Senna, a driver who achieved 35 Grand Prix victories with McLaren and was instrumental in securing four Constructors’ Championship titles for the team.
