    New McLaren Artura Spider Teased Enigmatically Prior To Its Official Unveiling

    McLaren has tantalized enthusiasts with a mysterious preview hinting at the imminent reveal of the Artura Spider. Shared across social media platforms, the teaser offers a sneak peek of the rear design reminiscent of the Artura, featuring stylish LED taillights likely borrowed from the coupe. A previous teaser also hinted at the rear buttress section of the upcoming Artura Spider.

    It is anticipated that the Artura Spider will share the same 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine with the coupe, delivering 577 hp and 431 lb-ft of torque. This will be coupled with an electric motor adding an extra 97 hp, resulting in a combined power output of 671 hp and 531 lb-ft of torque. The vehicle will come equipped with a 7.4 kWh lithium-ion battery pack providing a maximum electric range of 19 miles and a new 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

    The official debut of the McLaren Artura Spider is slated for February 27, 2024.
