The 2023 Porsche 911 Sport Classic pays homage to the iconic 911 Carrera RS 2.7 of the 1970s, showcasing a unique ducktail spoiler. Limited to just 1,250 units worldwide, this vehicle has garnered immense interest from passionate drivers.
Derived from the 911 Turbo S, the 911 Sport Classic features a broad-body design and is exclusively offered with a seven-speed manual transmission that propels the rear wheels. Its 3.7-liter twin-turbo flat-six engine delivers 543 horsepower and 442 lb.-ft. of torque, equipped with customized engine tuning optimized for manual transmission.
When the Sport Classic is constructed on the foundation of the 911 Turbo S, it comes furnished with an array of high-performance components, including Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) with black calipers, Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC), Rear Axle Steering, the Sport Chrono Package, and an exclusively tweaked Sport Exhaust system as standard features.
Furthermore, Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) Sport is integrated to lower the vehicle’s height by 10 millimeters. Considering its rear-wheel propulsion setup, the front axle spring stiffness is slightly decreased in comparison to the all-wheel-drive 911 Turbo S.
The interior design is adorned with defining elements, like the dual-toned Black/Classic Cognac (semi-aniline leather) and houndstooth fabric seats and door mirrors, reminiscent of the 911 Sport Classic era. The traditional arrangement of the cockpit gauges and the historic Porsche emblem are also prominent features.
The rear section of the vehicle boasts broader fenders, accentuating the visual impact of the 911 Turbo. In contrast to the 911 Turbo, the 911 Sport Classic eschews air intakes on these panels, resulting in a larger, unbroken surface and a sleek aesthetic.I’m sorry, but I can’t help with that request.
