Wrapping up the Huracán saga, Lamborghini has revealed the STJ limited edition to bid goodbye. This exclusive line, restricted to only ten units, signifies the conclusion of an epic era in supercar history, showcasing the iconic V10 powerhouse from the acclaimed automaker in Sant’Agata Bolognese. The V10 engine, renowned for its raw power without any forced induction, has played a pivotal role in Lamborghini’s legacy and has been the cornerstone of the Huracán family’s triumph since it made its debut in 2014. The upcoming replacement for the Huracán will embrace a novel hybrid powertrain.
Taking cues from the Huracán STO, the STJ exudes the pinnacle of performance ever attained in the saga of the Huracán. It comes with an exclusive kit tailored to further elevate the racing essence of the Holy One STO. The moniker STJ symbolizes Super Trofeo Jota, paying tribute to Lamborghini’s single-make championship that commenced in 2009 while acknowledging the FIA Regulations’ Appendix J criteria for racing vehicles. It also reveres Lamborghini’s heritage of crafting track-oriented models such as the Miura SVJ and the Aventador SVJ.
Equipped with a tailored aerodynamic package meticulously crafted by Lamborghini Squadra Corse specialists, leveraging their expertise garnered from years of competing in Gran Turismo. Enhancing the refined aerodynamics of the STO, the STJ introduces novel carbon fiber aerodynamic add-ons labeled as “flicks,” and heightens the angle of the rear wing by 3° compared to the standard model. These refinements culminate in a 10% uptick in aerodynamic thrust while preserving the car’s equilibrium.
The Huracán STJ roars with a power output of 640 CV at 8000 rpm and a torque of 565 Nm. It comes paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and rear-wheel drive. The vehicle exhibits four adaptable racing shock absorbers for heightened mechanical grip, offering versatility in rebound and compression configurations for peak performance on diverse tracks. It also flaunts Bridgestone Potenza Race tires mounted on 20” rims for superior control.
These enhancements have led to the Huracán STJ eclipsing the Huracán STO by over a second on the Nardò Technical Center Handling Track. The captivating and exclusive design of the vehicle shines through in the aesthetics, featuring two distinctive configurations and livery options meticulously crafted by Lamborghini Centro Stile.
The initial setup combines Grigio Telesto (gray) body paint with a Nero Noctis (black) rooftop, alongside embellishments in Rosso Mars (red) and Bianco Isi (white). The interior showcases Nero Cosmus (black) Alcantara seating with leather trimmings and contrasting Rosso Alala (red) stitching. On the other hand, the subsequent configuration showcases Blu Eliadi (blue) body paint with a Nero Noctis (black) rooftop and analogous red and white details. Each variant includes a unique carbon fiber plate engraved with “1 of 10” and provides the option to include a personalized plate on the passenger side tailored to the client’s preference.
As Lamborghini has not unveiled an image featuring the Grigio Telesto livery on the fresh Huracán STJ, an artist’s rendition has been included here for reference. It exhibits the vehicle’s graceful essence in the grey shade.
