McLaren is once again pushing boundaries with its latest model, the Artura Spider. Rather than just focusing on additional features, the Artura Spider puts an emphasis on refinement and excellence to provide a driving experience that exceeds all expectations.
The Artura Spider is driven by a 3.0L twin-turbo V6 engine matched with the high-performance “Axial Flux E-Motor” hybrid system. While the Artura coupe had 670hp, McLaren decided to give the Spider a power enhancement to an impressive 690hp. This additional power allows the Artura Spider to accelerate from 0 to 60 MPH 0.1 seconds faster than the Coupe, achieving it in just 3.0 seconds. It can go from 0 to 124 MPH in 8.4 seconds and reach 186 MPH in only 21.6 seconds, all the way up to its maximum speed of 205 MPH (with the roof up).
An attractive feature of owning a Spider version of a supercar is the limitless headroom it provides. The Artura Spider includes a retractable hardtop, a defining feature of any spider model, which can be deployed in just 11 seconds while driving at speeds of up to 31 mph.
