While cruising under ideal conditions at the dragstrip, the Lucid Air Sapphire achieved an impressive speed of 154 mph as it breezed past the finish line.
Aside from its outstanding quarter-mile achievement, the Lucid Air EV displayed its agility by accomplishing a remarkable 0-60 mph time. Thanks to its instantaneous torque and remarkable traction on the raceway’s prepared surface, the sedan accelerated from 0 to 60 mph in a jaw-dropping 1.77 seconds.
Behind the wheel for this incredible feat was Brooks, who experienced acceleration forces of 1.5 G, firmly pushing him back into his seat.
